West Indies selection committee announced 15 players squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. West Indies squad has experienced and freshers both for 2015 cricket world cup. 15 man West Indies squad have experienced players like Chris Gayle (258 ODI), Samules (162 ODI), Denesh Ramdin (115 ODI) and Darren Sammy (115 ODI). West Indies won back to back two world cup in 1975 Cricket World Cup and 1979 Cricket World Cup. Chairman of West Indies selection committee, Clive Lloyd said he has high expectation for this 15 man squad which looks well balanced.

“I believe we have selected a very good team which will do West Indies proud at the World Cup. We have a good mixture of some good seasoned players and some good youngsters who will fly the West Indies flag in Australia and New Zealand,” Lloyd said.

“If they play to their potential I am quite sure we will do very well. I have really high hopes in this team – I believe they can do something special. We have the talent and if we can play to our potential we have a very good chance of lifting that trophy,” Lloyd said.
