England by 6 wickets where as in another semifinal match West Indies won by 8
wickets against Pakistan.

India and West Indies reached in final where India beat West Indies by 43 runs. India became world champion.
In final, India could not score big total but bowling of Amarnath lead India to won by 43 runs. Amarnath were Man of the Match and there were no man of the series in 1983 cricket world cup.
