ICC have decided that there will be no super over in knock out matches. If a match tied then team ranking high on their pool will proceed but if final match of world cup 2015 tied then both teams will be declared winners.

DRS will also be applied in all the 49 matches.
There will be reserve day for knock out matches.
World cup prize money has also been increased by 20%. Winning team of 2015 cricket world cup will get $3,750,000. Prize of cricket world cup 2011 was $3,250,000.
2015 cricket world cup runners-up will receive $1,750,000. It was $1,500,000 in 2011.
Loosing semi finalist will collect $600,000. In 2011 world cup, it was $500,000.
Sanctification expressed by ICC regarding preparation of the event going to be hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
ICC also announced that top 8 teams as per ICC world cricket ranking will qualify for 2017 championship.
