We are desperate to register first win against India in current ODI series before world cup 2015. We have improved in the second one day match against India but made so many mistakes in this match. Early wicket fall was the main reason behind 275 total and fall of my wicket was most disappointing because I went out in 33 over and I was all set to accelerate things in power play. We had many chances to put pressure on India but we had lost them and as result they are in good position 2-0 up in the series.

I think we should scored at least 300 plus to keep pressure on Indian side. 275 was also fighting score but we need to play like top of our cricket to win from there. Lahiru Gamage was good with new ball and found some movement but except one early wicket, we couldn't get wickets on regular intervals.
We were also unlucky in terms of umpire decision but this is realty of cricket. We should accept it and be focused for remaining matches. In Sri Lanka it was competitive score because our pitches are more bowlers-friendly but here on flat pitches 275 was not enough to win the match.
Angelo Mathwes leading us and rest team should follow him in Third ODI in Ahmadabad on Sunday. Its do or die match for us so we need everything to go our way to keep us alive in series.
